Privacy policy

Your files

Images, videos and screenshots you open in the tools are read by your browser and processed locally using standard web technologies (the canvas and video elements). They are not uploaded, stored on a server, or shared with anyone. Exported files are generated on your device and saved by your browser.

Files are kept in your browser’s memory only while the page is open. Replacing a file, removing it, or closing the tab releases it. They are not saved to browser storage.

The site’s current security policy only allows network connections back to the site itself, so the pages cannot send your files to other servers even by mistake.

Clipboard

The screenshot beautifier reads the clipboard only when you paste (with the keyboard shortcut or the “Paste from clipboard” button). Your browser may ask for permission the first time you use the button. The pasted image is handled like any other opened file.

What we collect

There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Cropora does not ask for your name or email, and it does not collect the content of your files. Fonts and scripts are served from the site itself, not from third-party networks.

Cookies and browser storage

Cropora’s own code does not set cookies and does not save information about you in your browser’s storage. Our hosting provider may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example to protect the site from abusive traffic.

Analytics and advertising

There are currently no analytics services, tracking pixels or advertisements on Cropora. The tools are free, and the site may show advertising in the future to cover its costs. Before any advertising or analytics is added, this policy will be updated to name the providers and the data they use, and consent will be requested where the law requires it (for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland).

Hosting

The site is hosted as static files on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data needed to deliver pages and protect the service, such as IP addresses and request details, under its own privacy policy. This data relates to loading the pages, not to the files you work with, which never reach the host.

Changes

If this policy changes, for example because advertising or an analytics service is added, the new version will be published on this page with a new date before the change takes effect.
